Lone Star Boarding Kennels
In 2005, we set out to create a stress-free boarding environment. As we planned the design of our kennels, the guiding questions were “What would make our dogs happy?” and “What would our dogs need to be safe and healthy while boarding?”
With those questions in mind, we built a 2040 sq. ft. facility with 20 indoor/outdoor runs on an acre behind our home. Central heat and air, ventilation fans, and dehumidifiers create a comfortable climate-controlled environment. Retaining walls between each run reduce stress. And for fun and exercise we have an extra large play yard so that everyone can stretch their legs and play with friends. Tummy rubs and ball tosses are given liberally.
Update 2023- We have installed an UV light air purification system and are in the process of installing a Generac generator so that you do not have to worry about our ability to remain operational in a comfortable, safe environment for your pups.
